Our Mission

 Central Productions provides direct support services and fiscal sponsorship to filmmakers as well as public programs to engage film enthusiasts in the Boston area.
Central Productions, Inc. is a nonprofit film arts and production organization. Our mission is to advance the emerging film community and to contribute alternative bodies of work within the culture of the moving image.
- To expose the general public to films that have difficulty being realized and produced due to commercial pressures;
- To foster an environment for filmmakers predominantly concerned with developing an understanding of aesthetics within the use of the cinematic medium;
- To explore alternative film production possibilities through developing and sharing resources as well as experiences with an emerging film community that is under-served by other cultural and film-oriented institutions.
